Thanks to generous donations from church members and friends, we are able to purchase materials and fund many church programs and activities. There are three main funds that the church relies on for it’s needs.

The Memorial Fund is used to purchase valuable equipment and articles for the worship and ministry of the church. The articles purchased are then brought to the church to be dedicated in memory of a loved one. Gifts to the Memorial Fund can be directed to the church Treasurer.

The Scholarship Fund is used to support those in our church who have decided to continue their education at a post-secondary school level. Applications are available during May and June each year, and awards are decided and distributed at the end of summer.

The SHYN (Sandra Hughes Youth Needs) Fund is used to support our kids and teenagers. Sandy Hughes is remembered in our church for her love of helping children and young people. When she passed away, our church wanted to pay tribute to her work by creating a fund that would continue her work with children. Since her death, her fund has helped kids attend summer camps, buy a karaoke machine for youth activities and programs, and Sunday School parties. Several years ago some of our high school teens used some of the fund to go on a mission trip to help rebuild a church in Jamaica. We are honored to use the SHYN (“Shine”) fund to help our young people.
